gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,532 #2 Posted April 10, 2019 The brake was supplied by Peerless with the transmission. Click on the picture. On the first page of the file in the top right corner are the brake parts. The brake pads are item #38 with part number 799021. Ordering 1 should get you a pair of pads. https://www.partstree.com/parts/tecumseh/parts/799021/ Garry

Sarge 3,465 #4 Posted April 12, 2019 You'll have to use a bearing splitter and forcing screw to remove that brake disk off the shaft - do not hammer on the shaft or you'll ruin it as well as the bearings inside. A local auto parts store will rent a puller kit for free with a small deposit. Make sure to inspect the kit closely, many times the forcing screws are damaged, the bearing splitter bent into a pretzel and the store isn't smart enough to replace the dumb things. Just measure the outer diameter of that disk before picking up the kit - you'll need to know how wide the puller frame needs to be to fit the puller frame over the thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRiMIorP-oQ Sarge
