There are probably dozens of posts here and also on utube. Typing "onan surging pulsing" in search should bring up MANY topics. Generally (most likely) its in the carb, they are really finicky - clean it well, maybe adding a kit while its apart, The mixture and idle adjustments are quite 'touchy' and can sometime be a pill to get set. dwcphoto 7 #3 Posted April 8, 2019 Appreciate that. I'll try the search again. This is my first problem with surge or hunting and I bought the thing used back in 96. Does not get babied, shame on me. Sits under a roof in an open shed all year, pull a trailer for stone and firewood and mows mostly rough ground. Put a set of plugs in it once, a vaccum line and fuel lines, plus a 520 rear and it just keeps ticking. Oh, and a cleaning of the breather some years ago.
