Just picked up this 310-8 with snow blower from a buddy. Anyone know what belt sizes i need??and possibly wat year it is? 1 for deck and 1 for blower. Kohler 10hp model # k241s..serial number 1604909073

The single stage thrower takes a 5/8"x69" belt, the deck IDK, but from your pictures the mule drive (idler pulleys) is missing from the front attachment to the deck...maroon stripe on hood puts in the 1980s.

Looks like a 1985, that was the first year of the 310-8 and the only year that they offered the K-241 engine, later ones had the M-10..  There is a model number tag on the fender under the seat, if it still legible it will tell the true year.

That deck looks like a 2-blade 37" side discharge. Click on the picture.

If it uses the 6-sided drive belt print out this page and have it with you when you put it together.

Later decks used some flat idlers and a regular 4-sided belt.

That is a great tractor and it’s hard to beat 

that 10 horse kohler. I have a 312 -8 and I have been wanting a 310-8 but can seem to find one around here!
