Needing a rectifier for my 14horse Kohler

And see a lot of different prices from $11 on up to 40 bucks. Are the more expensive ones better or is a cheaper one just as good ?

Randy I bought one of the least expensive ones from a company called dbelectrical.com at least a year ago and it's been fine since.

Like Eric, I also got one from DB for around 15.00. Have had it on my engine swapped Electro 12 with a C160 engine. Hasn't left me stranded yet.

The B&S Part #691185 is a good replacement with some minor connector changes.  Aftermarket by Stens is around $40 but is a good reliable part
