Hey guys I could use some help with my build. I have a 416H that I want to add a suitcase weight holder on the back. I saw a picture of one that used the hitch pin for added support. I want to add 4/5 of the weights for next year's plowing snow. Just looking for some clear pics so I can fab one up. If you have a print even better lol. Thanks ahead of time.

I run 3 (3x42=126#) of the JD suitcase weights plus 70+# iron wheel weights and 6+/- gallons of fluid (methanol)  per wheel with my 2stage blower no traction issues yet, I made the hanger years ago, but there are some pre-made ones you can buy...

Excellent that was one of the mounts I had remembered seeing. Have to make sure that my plow mount can also be used in conjunction with the weight bracket. How much weight can safely be hung using the axle and hitch together? I have 5 of the weights and I am thinking that they are around 40 lbs each. So just north of 200 lbs swinging of the rear of that tractor. That casting is stronger than it looks i'm sure.

Yes 42# ea...i have had at least 700# plus dragging behind me on just the pin hitch numerous occasions hauling sandy soil and gravel on my 17cuft dump cart and tugging on felled trees and other vehicles, I'm sure if it's tied into the plow hitch/bracket and axle housings it's even stronger.
