clueless 3,272 #1 Posted March 24, 2019 Yesterday I was moving some things around in the shop and rolled out the 702 that's been in the back for a few years. Engine needs rebuilding or replacing, another project that's been on the back burner. I started thinking , not always a good thing, I've got this rebuilt K91 sitting on the shelf, maybe I can put it on the 702, it would make a great little tractor for pulling the aerator around my yard and a few of the neighbors a couple times a year. Thinking I would have to raise it a little and figure out how to attach the belt guard, but it my be a simple swap. Thoughts and ideas? Chris, in 76 degree today Florida .
Pullstart 67,094 #2 Posted March 24, 2019 I bet that K91 would do just fine, how far would you need to raise it up? Would the head clear the hood if it’s too much? additionally, I have zero experience with a K91, but imagine it would weight more than a Honda clone as to prevent the front end from being too light?
953 nut 60,403 #3 Posted March 25, 2019 RJs and Suburbans could get the job done with four horse power, shouldn't be a problem. 1
