I wouldn't spend any money on parts until you have taken the engine apart and had an engine machine shop measure it and give you an evaluation of what it needs. Lots of machine shops sell parts and generally they are well priced.

Not knowing the parts availability in France, I agree with Richard.  It would be best to inspect, measure, then order parts.

When you get to that point, you can get parts on E-Bay.  Both Sten and Kohler.

WHX??

Agree with the others. Before ordering any parts pull the motor apart and see exactly what it needs. Kits are readily available with varying degrees of parts required. for example there are kits that are what's called master kits and have every part in the motor including a carburetor in some. Then there are kits with just an appropriate oversize piston, rings & gaskets. Most important is the measuring of the bore and crank journal which is best done by a machine shop unless you have the tools and skills and can do it yourself.

Keep us posted please.
