dkg520 527 #1 Posted March 3, 2019 I finally made up my mind and purchased a lift and I’m so glad I did. My knees and back are happy also. It is so much nicer than crawling around on a cold, hard concrete floor. I appreciated everyone’s suggestions as to the advantages and disadvantages of getting a lift. 17

dkg520 527 #6 Posted March 3, 2019 The brand is a “Handy Lift”. It’s a air lift that’s operated with a foot valve. I know as I get older even the foot pump lifts would become harder to operate so I bought a lift that I Hope I can use for years to come.

Pollack Pete 2,273 #10 Posted March 3, 2019 VERY nice.I made the mistake and bought one from Harbor Freight. It just sits piled with other crap and taking up real estate.I've never used it for lifting anything.I should have known better.

What's wrong with the HF model. It's something I'm looking to buy. Should I not but one?
dkg520 527 #15 Posted March 5, 2019 I purchased the SAM 1200 model. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the Harbour Freight lift. It didn’t get the best reviews but I was looking for something that would last long into my golden years. The Handy lift is not only a great Wheel Horse lift but can be used as a steady work bench also. And it is very easy to raise and lower. So far I am very happy with my choice. The cost was quite a bit more but in years to come I think for me I made a good choice.
