dwhjelm, I don't know if you realize how lucky you are ! that is a very stout and well cared for tractor, there is a number of us looking at this with the thought of , why can't that happen to me?  I hope you have a neighbor that might have a horse near you , to help you out ,in addition to a manual look up. look up attachments on this site  , lots of related pictures and info . I don't have to wish you luck , you already have it , I hope you keep it that way, WOW ! pete

Looks like it has been well cared for, with proper maintenance it will be good for another three decades or more.     :text-coolphotos:

The 36" decks have 3 blades.

That deck looks like a 2-blade 37" side discharge and a grass collector was available for them.

Which one is it?

nice 414, becareful  when turning the front tires, you have the 8" front rims, that deck was designed to be used with 6" front rims becuase of clearance issues. The issue is you might get some black marks on deck, don't know if it would cause more severe problems. good luck

It appears to a wire mesh like the kind they put on cat walks.

@dwhjelm :text-welcomewave: to :rs:!!

nice ride, it looks very well cared for!  You’ll be able to install and uninstall that deck with no tools.  The plow should be the same instance, if the brackets are already on the transmission housing.

It looks like you have the 6 inch wheels and tires, if you have the 8 inch wheels and tires that 37 inch deck is  going to be a problem.

Perfect.

Click on the pictures.

We do not have the 1990 blade operator manual but this one will be the same

Here is the bagger sold in 1989 for the 300-Series tractors with a 37" deck.

:text-welcomeconfetti: to :rs:!

Good to have another Hoosier member onboard.

Great looking tractor you roped.

This is a great place and I'm sure you'll learn to appreciate it very quickly.

Regards,

Steve
