If you want the tractor build date, we need the tractor numbers that can probably be found under the seat.

Unless my eyes are deceiving me, i spot an extra belt guard NEXT to the factory drive belt guard. The floor board seems to be about a 1/3rd narrower and appears to have a notch cut into it where it angles upward, i would guess for a belt to travel through. Looks like it could guard a belt traveling rearward from one of the PTO grooves. I am definitely no WH guru, but i spot an oddity here!
wallfish 15,935 #16 Posted February 21, 2019 That belt guard does look awfully wide. Are you saying that it's a belt guard covering the original belt guard? Maybe home brew if it is. Never saw that before
evanloock 216 #17 Posted February 21, 2019 The extra belt guard is for the powered bagger (the belt that powered the impeller) that used the canvas cover attached to the Wheel Horse dump cart. Made from the 70's through the 80's.

The regular belt guard rides flush with the center tower downward.

I have never seen one of these and would like to see the pully system to get the drive belt to the rear mounted blower.
JoeM 7,645 #22 Posted February 21, 2019 A friend of mine has a foot pad with a slot cut in from the factory for the same reason. Not sure how he ended up with it he doesn't have a vacuum. May have got it with a tractor he bought???
