mattd860 162 #1 Posted February 1, 2019 (edited) Hi - I need pictures of how the throttle cable attaches to and connects to the K91 motor on an RJ. Or just any K91 will probably do. Thanks! Edited February 1, 2019 by mattd860
JimmyJam 542 #2 Posted February 1, 2019 Hi Matt, Here's a pic of the throttle cable setup from a 1960 Suburban with K-91.
peter lena 9,319 #3 Posted February 1, 2019 I like that vertical almost straight cable pull, great for regular lubrication, I have been experimenting with a spring return on my cables, just mounting a small hook point for the spring pull. found a very smooth cable response to both cables, light cable assist, on my 312-8. pete
wallfish 18,244 #4 Posted February 2, 2019 If your K90/91 has the little throttle bar attached to that disk, then attaching the throttle control wire to it will allow for more precise control over it. Instead of going from idle to full blast with just a little movement of the throttle lever. It's usually not a big deal but just adding this . Usually there is a cable mounting arm connected as well for the conduit clamp.
