C-160 Hydro creeps in reverse

i have a 1976 c-160 hydro 61-16ks03 used it two weeks ago worked fine. Put tire chains on last week and went to use it yesterday and  reverse is very weak and just creeps. Going forward is good and hydraulic lift seems to be working also. Any ideas?

Make sure your motion control lever is moving the plastic slider up and down completely, but if it is, Check Valve or acceleration valves are hot candidates

Had on just like that where the bolts holding the channel for the slide backed out. As a matter of fact one was missing. I believe there is three. It allowed the plate to move and not engage the hydro.

Also, check the rear frame mounting plate - when they crack badly it can allow the frame/rear axle to sag at the broken point - causing the linkage to no longer reach the reverse portion of the plastic part on the cam.
