New Wheelhorse owner living in the Northeast. There is a snow blade for sale but dont know if it will fit my 1989 252H. The  id tag is reading 96-42BC01-06389 on the phot sent to me. The Toro site states I need a 06-42BK01.

I do know that the BC in the first set means it was built for B and C series horizontal shaft garden tractors (like the tag on my frame)...and that a 252H is a vertical shaft lawn tractors and the blades and they way they mount are entirely different.

First 2 digits on this last one are 86-42BC01. Once you know what they are you can see them. Don't rub too hard. The 86- was printed on the plate so easily worn off.

Not much available for this one but did find parts lists so you can see what they look like.

Managed to make a file out of one of the three. Suspect they are all the same from different model years. Click on the picture.

I just bought a C-175 with a mower deck and snow blade (not running) for $150.  I'm pretty sure I paid to much for it (sitting on 4 flat tires) but, I just love the way it looks! Even though there rear tires are flat and have huge cracks, those 23x10.50 bar grip tread make it look tuff!!  Plus the owner said "It was running when I parked it" in 2003!!  I intend to do a full on restoration after I hear it run.  It has 1525 hours on the clock.  That sounds like a TON for this little guy.

Since I picked up a larger 54" blade for my C-161 I was wondering if I could add the rear axle bracket to my 606 and use my old 42" snow blade on it?
