Howie 882 #1 Posted January 16, 2019 Thought some might find this interesting. Was in an H-60 I built for a go-cart in the 70's. Got it out of a shop in California. Block was bored for a caged needle bearing on mag side with ball bearing on PTO side. Ports cleaned up .040 or so off head. Camshaft reworked for more lift. 3
Terry M-(Moderator) 2,125 #2 Posted January 16, 2019 Any more pics of other parts...or the engine? Are you doing a rebuild??
Howie 882 #3 Posted January 17, 2019 No I never did take pictures of the engine. It is currently torn down and I will have to source a set of .020 oversize rings. Thought there was to much scoring on cylinder wall and took it apart. Does not look as bad once apart. Had an eight hp carb on itlast it was run, would not supply enough fuel. Howie 882 #5 Posted January 18, 2019 I knew I had looked up the ring part number earlier, found I did buy another set of .020 rings!
