moe1965 766 #1 Posted January 13, 2019 We finally got some snow here in North East Ohio where I live. Took two years for me to try our my c141 with a blade and push it all to one side if the drive and get out my raider 12 with a snow blower and chuck it all off the drive. All went well until I didn't have a battery in the raider. So I swapped one out and didn't pay attention to the negative and positive post. Long story short I fried the starter in the raider. ohiofarmer 3,379 #4 Posted January 14, 2019 My recent buy was a 1056 with the [dead] battery reversed. I swapped out the coil and condenser just because they were known good ones. It took two days to slowly charge the battery on a .75 amp charger. She started right up! But that machine has a starter-generator, so maybe that is hat saved the day
