MAWHguy2019 21 #1 Posted January 5, 2019 Hi guys, I recently purchased a 1989 312-8. Just love this machine! I am having some trouble getting a bagger to work with the 42 inch deck that came with this unit. After downloading the compatibility spreadsheet I see you need a 37 inch deck (05-37SC01) to work with the bagger (07-11BC01). Will anything work with the deck I have (15-42SC01)? The prices for new ones are outrageous! I need this to mow my parent's lawn as they are getting to a point they cannot manage on their own. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! clueless 3,121 #3 Posted January 5, 2019 The 42 and 48 inch SD decks bagging system are a vacuum system, it is connected to the deck and has a belt driven impeller that sucks the grass and leaves in to the bags. The 37 inch system is like the bagging system you see on most riders today, it uses a blade with a wing on it to blow the stuff in the bags. You need the smaller 6 inch front wheels on your tractor for the 37 inch deck, I believe yours has the small ones. Also welcome to the Square. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
