At the moment I need the adjustment procedure for the PTO and also where the spring on top of the PTO attaches. Buzz 502 #2 Posted March 24, 2009 Your 252-H is either a 1988 with a model number of 22-13KE01 or a 1989 with a model number of 22-13KE02. There should be a tag or sticker with one of those numbers on it. I don't know anyplace where you can download an operators manual for your tractor. You can order one from Toro for a few dollars plus download several other manuals that come in handy. Here's the link, enter your model number and for the serial number put "none". To order the operators manual sometimes it's easier to call. cJ_3D 9 #4 Posted April 16 (edited) All I don't know if this is still active, but I'm also looking for a manual or at least better scans of the manual. My problem is I think there is supposed to be a tension spring that keeps the mower deck from rattling and I also think I may have the adjustment knob installed wrong or am possibly missing parts. If anyone out there has higher quality scans, or a link to a manual (tried twice to order the manual from Toro they won't send me one), or does anyone out there have a 252-H (mine is a 1989 so the 22-13KE02), they could possibly send me photos of the anti rattle spring that connects to the top of the pto clutch as OP asked, or possibly how the adjustment knob should be set up? How does one use the adjustment knob I am having difficulty understanding that with the mower deck scans I have they are very dark and hard to interpret. It helps me to see it. Thanks for any help I'm honestly losing my mind with this because the deck vibrates so much and the drive belt keeps slipping off. Also unsure how the leveling works and I don't really have a flat surface to test that unless maybe I park it in my utility trailer. That's about as flat as I can get. Edit: This is what I'm looking for the information in this: Does anyone have a physical copy or a better copy? The tension knob adjustments and tension spring adjustments are what I'm trying to figure out. Also hard to see the adjustment nut how that works on the PTO clutch using the feeler gauge in the OM.
