pto " rod housing size "

Recommended Posts

just refitting areas on a recent magnum 12 engine swap, is there a slightly larger ,  HOUSING ROD  to pto clutch area ? using the existing ,upper engine bolt on frame , and the lower chassis rod hole, the rod barely hangs on the lower hole and tight fits top of pto pulley clearance. I am using a 1982 " c  " chassis , but don't recall  ever having a rod housing problem. same shape rod / design  but its short to fit either end , any ideas or answers?  thanks for a reply , Pete

There are different part numbers  300/400 singles used one the twin cylinder a different one.  C series used two different part numbers also one for single one for twins.

A couple of pictures might be helpful in coming up with a solution.

after looking for this with available information , I came upon the best picture and answer https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Wheel-Horse-pto-hoops-lot-of-seven/143075814531?hash=item214ffbac83:g:bLUAAOSwt~5biuzZ:rk:5:pf:0 . model / year only confuses the issue, measure what you need , and put it up against what is out there. I needed  another  1, 1/2"  on the lower end , for lift and clearance. unless you get an original set up, you will have to adapt to what works. pete
