:omg: Yesterday was a beautiful day here 70 degrees so went to work on the 1800. i put the new 16 inch narrow width tires and it looks sharp,,, and got to wondering if there was a reason for the wide tires on the front??? i am using 25 in ag tires on the rear, is there an avantage to using the wide tires or is the narrow tires OK, don't want to mess up a new restore, it is coming together really well.. will post a pic when i put the rears on , still have to set the engine.(lp)

Jerrell, the wider tires have better flotation and are less likely to make ruts in softer ground. Less pounds per square inch of tire touching the ground. Traction, flotation and weight distribution, in my opinion, what you use is all about the application you need for your specific circumstances.

If you're working on grass or soft ground, you want 'flotation' which is the less psi you get when you have more rubber on the ground (a wider tire with less air in the tire, like 8
