Firebug 267 #1 Posted December 27, 2018 does anyone know of a replacement shut off valve for a d series metal fuel tank. I’ve been searching the inter web and everything I’m finding is for the plastic tank. Or is there a rebuild kit available for them. I thought I had the leak stopped but found today that it was still leaking
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,531 #2 Posted December 27, 2018 I don't know the sizes required. This is a common one with original numbers to track one down. https://www.bantasaw.com/catalog/viewproduct.asp?i=212&p=192 The Wheel Horse valve used on some was 4941. https://www.partstree.com/parts/toro/parts/4941/ Garry
Firebug 267 #3 Posted December 27, 2018 That 4941 sure looks like it. Unfortunately it says it’s not available

Firebug 267 #5 Posted December 28, 2018 I ordered one off the bay that looked like the original style. Or close enough for me. Is there a thread tape that goes on it or just the thread contact that seals it up
