Plow setup ?

Recommended Posts

Maxlow84

Hello all I recently purchased a 1991 312-8 with a deck . I got the deck off . Is there a step by step of how the plow is supposed to be installed ? I have all the parts and I’m sure it’s not hard it’s just a bit confusing since I have never done it and have no manual . Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum.

This is the manual for the blade sold in 1991 but any manual from 1973 to 2007 would apply. Click on the picture

Good morning and welcome to Redsquare !!

Click below for a great tutorial made a few years back by our members.

I used it to hook up my own plow for the first time a few weeks ago.

Hey thanks for the welcome and the info . A little about myself . I’ve always been into older stuff I’m 35 been messing with old mini bikes and go carts since I was a kid got myself a 1985 Honda 250es big red these days to move me around the yard and recently purchased a house with a little bit of property and needed something to clean the drive way for the wife and kids . Didn’t want a snow blower as it is gravel so I found a super clean 91 312-8 with a deck and plow setup . Always enjoyed the look of older wheelhouse tractors but never really had a use until now . Thing is a absolute tank . Glad I made the purchase . I’m located about 40 mins west of Cleveland . Thanks again !

Did anyone mention 'horses are a herd animal?

They tend to attract more of themselves....

Max the only bad question is the one you didn't ask...

We all have to learn at some time or another.
