Building a d series articulated tractor

I'm thinking about making a d series into a articulated 4wd beast.instead of making it swivel in the center I was thinking make the front end swivel and still steer in the center. I think it would be easier that's how deere did it with 20 and 30 series deere articulates. Any thoughts
