gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,276 #2 Posted November 26, 2018 The Gates and Napa belts listed replace the original WH 1583 and are a little narrower and shorter than the Kohler suggested replacements. I would guess both fit OK. The important thing is to use a belt with raw rubber sides for better grip. The Napa and Gates belts listed are primarily automotive belts.
