mrc 727 #1 Posted November 21, 2018 hello men, a local guy stopped by and asked if i would look at a wheelhorse 212-6 that he has. i instantly realized these are lawn tractors and not our beloved garden tractors. it sounds as if the carb needs rebuilt or replaced. he says it has a kawaski engine. if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated. thank you. mike in mass. Dan693 510 #2 Posted November 21, 2018 I always start with draining all of the old gas out and replacing with fresh 92 octane including a new fuel filter. Also look inside the gas tank and make sure its pretty clean. If no change then I pull the carb and clean it really well and re-install. After that maybe replace the carb. They are pretty inexpensive on Amazon. Not OEM quality but I've had no problem with the aftermarket carbs. Make sure to blow out the air filter or replace as well. I recently had an air filter that looked fine but doubled as a engine kill switch when installed lol. This is assuming its a fuel issue to begin with.......good luck.
