Csanderson0628 0 #1 Posted October 27, 2018 I have a wheel house tractor with a 16hp kohler engine. Model k341as. My tractor has been setting for a month and went go to start it and my pedal is completely stuck down. Will not move even a little. Any ideas? Thanks

Achto 29,433 #4 Posted October 27, 2018 Ok, next questions - Hydro or gear shift? What model is it?
953 nut 60,391 #5 Posted October 27, 2018 Unfortunately the 3/4" shaft and brake pedal are both steel and have no bushings. They tend to rust together when setting and the best solution is to jack up the left side, heat the pedal and melt some paraffin wax into the gap, then move it gently back and forth. Once it is moving well remove it and use some never seize.

I actually drilled out the whole on the pedal and tapped a quarter 28 size thread and put a grease fitting on it
