whfan74 2,071 #1 Posted March 18, 2009 Well as many of you saw my previous post asking about what a package deal should be for the RJ 58 with all of the attachments in the picture. Well I finally found time to go up and see the very nice gentleman in Lagrange, IN. As many of you pointed out (which was a huge help before I got there) the hood was cut and there are also two little holes drilled in it! The paint on the tractor isn't too shabby at all. A small amount of overspray on the tires. I believe they are originals but could be wrong.....(BF Goodrich Silver Towns) The engine that all of you were curious of due to the color is actually a Kohler K91. It is painted blue for some reason. It will be changed! The attachments do look like they have been spray bombed but not too shabby. Ok so what you see in the picture is what I brought home, he also threw in another plow for it as well as a mower deck both of which are in pretty rough shape but they can be saved! But they sure do need some love. He also threw in an old pair of turf tires that have chains mounted on them for the tractor as well as a set of front tires. Front tires are loaded with calcium chloride so that will be coming out soon to hopefully salvage what is left. The rear tires are pretty much worthless and the rims aren't too bad. So all in all I had a bunch of stuff in the back of my truck and on my trailer. I was smiling all the way home. If we can revisit the last post most of you mentioned that it would be worth approximately $1300 - $1500. So I was prepared to walk away if the price was too high. I am very happy to say that I was able to haul home this load of goodies for $850. Needless to say the smile is from ear to ear and I have her tucked away all nice and warm in the garage. Heck I might grab a blanket and pillow and go out and sleep out there! Thanks to all of you for your insight, knowledge and input. I am so very happy to have acquired my first RJ. Here she is.........it was too dark to take pictures when I got home. I will try and line everything up real soon!

whfan74 2,071 #21 Posted March 18, 2009 Hey you guys are great! Thanks so much for all of the responses. I hope my enthusiasm wasn't too much. I am just a really proud owner of my new horse. Now unfortunately I have to stop the spending......it is time to turn to the ones I have and give them the attention they deserve. I will keep you posted and take some pics when I get a chance. Of course I was hoping to come and roll her out of the garage but of course it had to rain. I am learning patience I guess. Happy Horse Hunting!
