WH854 44 #1 Posted March 17, 2009 Anyone know how to bypass all those interlocks, seat switches, pedel switches? I don.t think they work on my tractor! Chas.
Teddy da Bear 11 #2 Posted March 17, 2009 Just cut the wires going in and going out of each safety switch. And then fasten them together. I prefer to ue heat-shrink tubing, but you can use electrical tape.
dodge78 90 #3 Posted March 17, 2009 If you want to use the swithes, they should have a connecter near them. Disconnect them and put a jumper wire between them. Do one at a time until it starts to find out which one or ones are working.
WH854 44 #4 Posted March 17, 2009 I thought about that, But I just wanted to see if this thing will run, I am not much on wireing I will do that as a last resort. Chas.
WH854 44 #5 Posted March 17, 2009 I tried jumpers on them didn,t work for me I will keep at it until I get it right. Chas.
TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #6 Posted March 17, 2009 Two little jumper wires will do the trick, Chas..... First you'll need one from the positive terminal on the battery to the + side of the ignition coil. The second wire (or a screwdriver) needs to temporarily connect the terminal the battery is hooked to and the small trigger terminal of the starter solenoid. Make sure the tractor is in neutral and you're out of the way when you do it - if it's going to start, this method will make it happen.

past7971 0 #8 Posted March 17, 2009 TT--should we be nervous??? You make that hot-wiring sound too quick and easy. Spoken like a true Horse-rustler. Maybe I better wake my "killer-attack" Golden Retriever up so he can be on guard
whchris 5 #9 Posted March 18, 2009 5 bucks says TT cant start my c-125 with that trick
WH854 44 #10 Posted March 20, 2009 Well I did what TT said! It ran for about 30 seconds and quit, could not get it to run again. I did a recheck on my jumpers and got it to torn over.It was the clutch switch, about $23.00 from Toro.I took the head off every thing was all cruddy. Iused awire brush on a drill cleaned up pretty nice. Then I noticed on the piston .010 I could wiggle the piston a little bit and could see down a long side and see the top ring.Looks like a rebuild for the old girl any oppinions Chas
