past7971 0 #3 Posted March 16, 2009 If that side decal by gas tank is original, you may have found whats left of a 500 Special. Look in front of shifter at dash stand under dash panel for a tag held on by two rivits for the ID/model numbers and let us know what you find. Other than possibly your snowplow, I cant think of any C-series attachments that will work on it without modifications.
wikket 0 #4 Posted March 16, 2009 What you mean - What's left of it? - Does it look like it's missing alot of it's parts? Is it worth of getting it and try to get some original parts for it, if the parts are still available from eB.
past7971 0 #5 Posted March 16, 2009 What I meant by "whats left" is---it appears to be one that has at least had its seat and engine changed. It does appear to otherwise be a "complete" tractor so sorry if that reply confused you. It appears to be a good starting point if your planning to restore one but check the ID numbers so you know for sure what it is.
