what have you done to show grandpa , that you take care of things, and would be the worthy one of  his horse? I think that is the issue, I am sure he would like someone, to make his horse lives on. if I were you , I would offer to do a service, and clean up, on his horse, seeing his tractor freshened up and with a clean look , would go a long way , (  without you asking  ) to get his tractor. that's just me, but I take care of my stuff , and would like to see it stay that way, another grandpa, Pete

The signs get turned, Yard Sale.

Grandson calls my 416-8 “His Horse!” Of all the nerve! :angry-tappingfoot:

My grandsons compete for “their” Horse.

Well, that would work out for Grandpa, he’d gain a Wheelhorse by gifting one!  :D

That’s a great way to have another horse in your stable, “honey, but our baby just has to have her own horse!”  And it truly is hers, you just get to use it for a decade or so and she grows up using her own.  It works for me anyway...

caleb on a pair his tractors...

Claud on her heirloom Case

Judge on his CC plow mule

and Zach on the Mighty “BlackBeard”.

See...they just all “HAVE TO” have their own tractors. Just think of all those useless plastic toys they get for Christmas and their birthdays that end up in the trash...give them the gift that keeps on giving year after year.

Now that I’ve gotten you in trouble with the wife, I slink back into the quiet spot that I came from:hide:

BTW—a 416-8 is an awesome tractor, how much better with a sentimental family tie?!
