handyman 1 #1 Posted March 15, 2009 I saw a C165-A the other day. How common are these? What parts if any do they share with the bigger C-175 and C-195's. The hood was obviously different but the fender pan looked like a common C pan. What engine did they use?
Sparky-(Admin) 23,139 #2 Posted March 15, 2009 They had a 16hp Kohler "K" series motor and other than the motor are identical to the C-175 auto which is not a bigger tractor. A C-195 is however a bigger tractor and I'm not sure what will interchange with it. Mike.....
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,527 #3 Posted March 15, 2009 To add to what sparky said, the C165 has the largest single cylinder engine before going to the Kohler Twin Cylinder 17hp. I have not owned a C165 but do have a 416 with the single K motor and it is very strong !! I also have C175 which is also very strong. Can't go wrong with either ..
