Torrence20 19 #30 Posted October 5, 2018 Ran into something strange today. Filled the tires on my rig. Went to take it for a victory lap and it started much harder then normal and it died and wouldn’t restart. So I pulled the fuel line from the pump and cranked it over and it pumped some fuel out not a ton but some. Dropped the bowl on the carb and there was fuel in it. Then I removed the fuel cap to eliminate that and I noticed the inline filter was completely empty. I took the fuel line off before the filter and blew back through the line and after that it ran well and the filter filled back up...

Sounds like it is time to remove the fuel tank and give it a through cleaning.
Torrence20 19 #32 Posted October 5, 2018 Yea I might have to do that, I put new fuel lines and filter on it when it was drained it looked in the tank and it looked clean. I guess that’s not good enough lol
Torrence20 19 #33 Posted October 5, 2018 So I thought I’d post a couple pics. The hood was in bad shape paint wise so I repainted it with what I had on hand I plan on a tear down and repaint eventually providing this unit will suit me needs I’ve filled my tires with fluid put on some chains built a little hitch adapter to move my little trailer around it will only be empty when moved with this as I don’t trust the hitch on this to haul a lot of weight with the ball on it like it is, new fuel lines and filter, carb clean new seat and some added springs so it doesn’t hit the fenders when bouncing new toggle switch and new lights
