CountryRock 199 #1 Posted September 14, 2018 I'm looking for any good substitutes for the obsolete seat mounting hardware for the GT2500. Original part numbers as follows: 108547 Push Nut, 517809 Spring, 108787 Rubber Grommet. I'm trying to get the tractor as close to original as possible, though I know that a lot of original parts are long since obsolete. I appreciate all suggestions. CountryRock 199 #4 Posted September 19, 2018 I'm not sure if that would be the correct setup for the 2500. It may well be though.

I don't want to bump an old thread but did you ever figure this out? I have some of the original hardware but I'm trying to figure out how to mount the seat properly. The parts diagrams don't show all the bolts, or at least they only show 2 when my assumption is that you need 4. Would love a pic of the proper seat configuration but I can't find anything just googling.

Thanks for responding, here is a pic of what the seat parts diagram shows. I don't know if the springs are as big as picture WVHillbilly shared. But this diagram only shows 2 bolts when I'm pretty confident there should be 4?
