Red Horse 33 #1 Posted March 14, 2009 For What Its Worth. There has been a pretty good amount of discussion lately about the different mufflers various wh tractors used . Some of which have become obsolete. One of wh's OEM suppliers was the Nelson Muffler co of Wisconsin. Nelson made most of the 310,12,416 mufflers as well as many others before it was bought out in 1997 by Cummins. It now goes under the name of Cummins Filtration. They are still in business and make about a zillion different mufflers for every use imaginable. The point is that they will even custom produce mufflers if there is enough demand. Their website includes layouts for mufflers including sizing and dimensions. If enough wh folks got together they may even consider producing some of the harder to obtain mufflers or ones that are NLA. There may be a stock muffler currently produced that may only need minor modification. Like I said it's an option that might be worth trying.
