Well guys this is what was emailed to me today. What is a good deal? Fair deal? Or what is too much? I am not going to break the bank to get this but am very interested in it.

It is a 58 RJ.......and am waiting a response from the seller.

After the last price I came across for an RJ58 tractor and plow. I think it was around $1200.00 I wouldn't even want to know what they want for thia one with all the implements.

I agree with Bow Extreme but I would have to see it in person to inspect it. If it's as good as it looks and you can get all that for less than $1500 than it's a deal. But then again it only worth what you are willing to pay. Not sure if the engine is original. Looks like it's painted black.

It looks like the back of the hood is cut.Maybe not but I would look at it first then make an offer.

It does look like a bank breaker to me.

Good luck!

I'm not up on the RJ's, but I don't think the cultivators go to it, you might be able to use the rears but not the mid mount, also the paint, on the impliments, looks like a quick spray can job, I also think the hood is cut, break it down piece by piece to see what it is worth. and the final answer is yours, how bad you want it.

Per our conversation on the phone I agree with Fireman $1500.00 is not a bad price if it is complete. Ck the engine why is it grey?

Thanks guys! I have a lot of questions for the gentleman now and am very curious on what I will find when and if I get a chance to see it. I will definitely keep all of you posted. I had no idea what something like this would bring, especially with all of the implements.

Duke........thanks for the phone call. I appreciate the info and the friendship!

Scott even if it's not a perfect RJ....how many times are you going to come across one with a bunch of goodies?

Let me know if you grab it...I'll come down & have a look!

I agree Kelly... that looks like the AC-67 cultivator which would have been for the 701. It probably won't even fit the RJ's slot hitch. The old style slot hitch was a little smaller.

Nice package, but I wouldn't break the bank for it. Think about it by the piece... each implement looks like it has been rattle-canned, making it roughly $50-100 each in my book. (50 for the deck, 75 each for the blade and weights, and 100 each for the plow, disc and cultivator) so you're at $500 in implements, and I'd say that's roughly a $500 tractor. Package it together and personally it's a $1000 or less package. Just my twocents.gif and keep in mind, my midwestern background means I tend to price things a little cheaper than folks do out east. Good luck however it turns out.

Jason,

You hit the nail on the head. Things back east here do tend to sell at a much higher price than the midwest. If I had all those pieces here and sold them seperately, I would make over $1500.
