Ok guys it's been 2 years and 2 4 speeds later so It was a long time coming for the 8 speed. The last 4 speed granaded at stevebos house with a 4500 rpm 5lb of boost launch in dirt. I'm pretty sure their are no more pinion gears left. I will tear into it when I get bored. But now I finally got the 1 1/8" 8 pinyhion 8 speed in it. That was the original plan years ago but didn't have the time to fit hi low lever and brake. Well it did 20+ with the 4 speed. Now I have it geared for 30+ mph. That after taking a smaller pulley back off It because it was too fast (62 mph). I still have to trim brake side cover but not yet.

Too fast. I put a bigger rear pulley on it and slowed it down some. The factory brake is pointless at 62 and are touchy.
