Bob211-5 0 #1 Posted June 26, 2018 I just got a 211-5 for 75 bucks. Couldn’t pass it up. It is rough but I cleaned up and got it running but I can’t figure out the carburetor linkage and spring set up. Any help would be much appreciated. Also how do I get the tires off it? One front and one rear is dry rotted bad and needs to be replaced. Thanks
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,527 #2 Posted June 27, 2018 Welcome to the form. It would help if you have the tractor model number of the ID decal. Here is a manual for the engine You should be able to remove a front wheel hub cap and then a cotter pin or E-clip to remove a front wheel. The rear wheels may be retained by an E-clip on the axle. Remove that and try to pull the wheel off the axle by hand. Don't loose the key in the axle. If it won't come do not force it. You could pull the axle out of the transmission. When they are too seized to remove just change the tire without removing the wheel from the tractor. Done it many times. Garry
