redone 45 #1 Posted June 16, 2018 I am wondering what the value of this Koehler engines? Right now no spark but turns over. Dose it make a difference changing old oil to new oil in order to free up any safety switcher inside the engine.
953 nut 51,899 #2 Posted June 16, 2018 Value is quite subjective, how badly does the buyer want it and how badly do you want to be rid of it? I just bought two of them, one is a series 2 in running order for $ 125 and the other is a series 1 that has not run for a few years but had no issues and I am giving one Big Show "T" shirt for it. pfrederi 17,168 #3 Posted June 16, 2018 Series one or series 2 There aren't any internal safeties
pacer 3,160 #4 Posted June 16, 2018 As for the no spark, these engines were somewhat fond of losing the coil --- A kohler is pricy but some of the Harley coils will do. I bought 2 at a flea mkt for $5 and fixed mine.
