Was wondering. Was there a certain year or model that came with these type of lenses, painted silver ?

They are certainly hard to find .

I do like the look of them .

Im a fan of the yellow light too

Luckily, they only go about 7mph...

Even with Wheel Horse brakes, most accidents can be avoided so long as I am not the driver...

c-series don

@Wheelhorse#1 I’m not sure what year they started using the nice lenses like that? 1968 if I have to guess, but they were done at least by 1977 because the 78-79 C-Series didn’t have the fancy chrome horse head in it. It was just a decal on the lens.

I had always heard that the originals had the chrome in the lens, but the grey/black decal version were the only replacement available.

@Wheelhorse#1 you definitely want to preserve that lens. You won't likely find another!

When you said that I went and looked at the ones on eBay for almost $100 and those are just the stickers. Wow quite the difference in looks. My 73 has a lens with the decal but no telling if that was a replacement lens or not.

The 72 Raider has the chrome horse but that lens was completely cracked and pieces missing off it, but makes me glad I was able to incorporate that chrome horse into the light mod.

If you want to save money and have something decent that won’t put you in debt. A piece of thin Lexan and a bit of painting you can have something similar.
