I have to work tomorrow my 24 hour shift so no seat time for me  . I will go in tonight so I won't have to make the 40 mile commute with all the maniacs with two wheel drive on the road in the morning. Looks like the wife will have all the fun this storm  . Good thing my plow tractor, the C81, is my least favorite of the herd  .

When you guys out east get your snow does it get below 0 the next day like over here in the central states? Cabs help but still cold.

Just the opposite.... when the snow stops it tends to get very sunny and warm up 5-10 degrees. Here in Connecticut we rarely see 0... we flirt with it but 5-10 above is usually as close as we get.

Tony

P.S.--If this storm takes me out you can all fight for my herd, parts and attachments.... just tell my wife I said it was OK.

Bring it on. I have one snow-chucker tractor and two with plows so it wont be a problem here.

We've got enough cussid snow up here already! Another 14 inches plus for tomorrow is predicted with high wind warnings to boot. If the track comes a little more east, we may get even more. The generator is still warm from last week's storm that caused us to loose power for 3 days.

Have fun down there in CT. If you ever need more seat time, drive on up here and I'll let you play with one of my WH's

Micah did you ever get a different generator? Too bad you aren't closer to me I'd sell you a 4 cyl. Onan 12KW. I start him a couple times a year but haven't needed him for a very long time.

Randy,

Have not purchased the new generator yet. My next door neighbor is coordinating a group purchase with some of his co-workers to get a better deal. I'd like to pull the trigger now, but if I wait a couple of weeks for another couple of guys, I can save about $100 on the deal.

Too bad you are so far away, a 12KW Onan would be sweet to have!

Ok guys. My Raider 12 and I are locked and loaded!

My question to those of you who can get pics and videos is...........

How in blazes do you get your wife to stand outside and take pics!?

I've got a 2 year old and a 2 month old and a wife 16 years younger than me and couldn't pay her enough to take pics of me on my tractor plowing snow!

Bring it baby!! I usually have my snowmobiles in Vermont. I have one at home right now. They normally don't plow my neighborhood too quickly. My Charger12 and 551 are Ready for action. Hope the wife is ready with the camera!!

 We might be getting a decent amout of snow here in South Jersey and here I am at work at the electric company. It's almost 6pm and started snowing about a half hour ago. We have crews heading in for storm stand-by. Hopefully I can leave at midnight and do some plowing in the am. My 856 (Lazarus ?) is ready.
