Measure and thread of alternator nuts

Hello everyone I need help, I have lost the nuts of the photo that correspond to the starter and dynamo can you tell me the size and the pitch of the thread to be able to buy the nuts? Thanks

They look like SAE 1/4 inch 20 threads / inch.

Those nuts are size 12-24. Just a little smaller that 1/4"

Thanks Denny,   That's what I get for trusting my old eyes.  I guess they need recalibrated.

I am right there with ya!

When I am grabbing a wrench/socket to work on something, I am better off grabbing a whole set, so I don't have to make so many trips back & forth!!

Ed, they sure look like 1/4” and the do take a 7/16 wrench. Way back when I worked in an auto electrical shop rebuilding those old motor generators and the size of that terminal is just something that stuck with me. Lol.

         By the time I get to the work bench I can't remember what I came there for, so I grab a bunch!

When I walk back in the shop, and ask myself am I here for a tool or a beer, the answer is a no brainier. That"s why the fridge is closer to the door than the tool box .
