Slickbilly-D 40 #1 Posted March 31, 2018 Im about to dive off into the tire adventure on my c-100 (wide front wheel). I need one spindle and one rim for sure and thinking about switching to narrow wheels. I like the look of the 400x8 tri rib, but is there any advantage or disadvantage to running a wide wheel on the front besides price? I see those 16x6.50-8s are a lot more expensive than the narrow ones. I’m primarily going to be using this for pulling a harrow, wagon, blade on the front, and cleaning up woods. If I decide to go with the narrow tires, what is the hub measurement on the narrow rims, and what’s the deal on the spindles? Shorter spindles or spacers? daveoman1966 3,841 #2 Posted April 1, 2018 I have a few spindles from C series... do you want left or right side? May also have a set of rims for 6.5 x 8 tires. May have rims for 4.8 also..not sure but will have a look-c .
