18 Auto Final Part!

Hello,

   I just installed the final missing part 10272 Access Plate listed as part 1-04 in the frame assembly. Man that is a real challenge to bolt into place and keep clean during the process! Od coarse I had the solenoid backwards and it needed turned around as well, but it's worth the effort!

Heh! bout the 3rd time I wrestled/cussed/fumed taking that dang thing off to get access to the solenoid I said 'nomore!!' and left it off. On all 3 of my D's I've removed it.

Hello,

        funny you mentioned that, just what I was thinking whenever I was putting it on! The solenoid is new so should be good for awhile! I removed the ammeter too so no more fried harness going down to the solenoid positive either! Installed a volt meter to fill the hole.......
