Solid link no chain. But I feel like between the lift bar and plow there should be a few links of chain bc they don't line up exactly. But I can't cor the life of me remember how my 410-8 was.

Solid link is angled some. It's around 11 inches total with the pins approximately 10.5" apart.  

 

I believe we attached the link to the outermost rock shaft hole.

The 11" link is a solid metal bar.  

One end to rock shaft. 

Other end to the cross bar of the plow frame. That should have an eye hole for the lower pin.

What is the matter with you  ... the manual says before every use... heck there might even be pictures in the manual!  Gonna have to have a day of the week where everyone checks their oil ... like oil check Saturday and if there are no pics it didn't happen. Sure does seem to be a rash of snapped rods lately.

Today as it was 80 degrees outside it was wash day. The other two were just dusty,  The 312 was the dirtiest and got the full treatment. A pressure wash, Armor All and tire cleaner and it looked almost new.😁
 

 

I even fixed a big chip I got in on the 312 a few weeks ago when I backed it into the winch on my ATV. A small brush and a small can of paint and it disappeared.

If you ever change out stickers or have extra save them. When I chipped the paint it also messed up the sticker. I had an old one that was the same color and design so a small piece of that and its much less noticeable.

 

 

I also gave the muffler on the C-141 a touch up as the high heat paint was coming off where the exhaust turned and went up the pipe. It’s been a productive day.

  Decided to use my C160 before I am too old to enjoy it.   You might understand how we scrimp and save and keep the nice things nice.  Well this one is a automagical transmission and my wife finds them easy . The side lever makes it even easier. I have another C160-8 as well but my primary worker is a nice 314. 

   i used to be able to easily post pictures on here but the ads populate so quickly that I cannot even use the cell phone for access. The only way to post pictures is to download them from a non cell phone camera to the laptop and then post them.   Hardly anyone uses a plain old camera anymore as we just are too lazy I guess..I should take a good long look at the baker's dozen of machines and place them where they do some good.

Correct except it's not lining up. Idk if somethings bent

They don't go straight up & down.

You're rear bracket is correct.  

 

That other bar is for a mower. Not a plow.  

You can use it with different links. Never done it that way here.

I'll be honest I knew something was not right. But I'll also add not to say your lieing but I can relate because this tractor to best of my knowledge has never had anything but a mower on it and maybe a ball on the sleeve hitch that was it which I did get with the tractor and the mule drive it needs new belts button pretty good condition 

 

Now would I use this link if I'm not mistaken directly to the plow

From a rock shaft bar to the long link for mower deck

Thinking being id still like to use the mower deck wondering if a small winch would be a solution
