That looks like an immensely handy tool....for quite a few things I can think of.  I may just have to weld up something similar for my own floor jack.  Thanks for sharing

OK guys. Enjoy the video of my hand :D

Actually I did this one just to get the audio. You can hear the noise much better with the mic pointed at the engine. I guess I should have pointed the camera the other way. :eusa-doh:

Probably just one in small pieces.

With an electric hoist You can stack five on a 28X28  dollie.

At the Polo, IL plow day 2 weeks ago, the 520-8 started running rough. It would just quit like it was loosing spark. When I got it home, I verified that it was. Ordered the engine ignition system kit and got it installed and back together this weekend. While I had it apart, I figured I would adjust the valves, since I was sure that the PO hadn't done that at 1,000 hours.

The Onan 4 piece kit p/n is 166-0785 and is available on eBay.

My cheapo mentality forced me to abandon the last of my Onan engines.

...But I do love how they run when dialed in. Sure purrs like a kitten!

I can hear the metallic rattle noise. I would take the engine out and run it in a bench. Does it make the noise with PTO engaged?

I still have one machine here with a swept axle (520-8) so not looking to sell it just in case I needed it for that machine.

The PTO doesn't seem to matter and I've ruled that out. It's not even consistent with the engine RPM. This video does pick it up better but nothing like being live. Wouldn't the balance gears be directly consistent with the RPM?

@Sparky   do any functional , improvements  to the plow set up? that  swing quadrant set up is a gold mine for detailing , shoulder  bolts at every , swing  point , allows  , dial in movement  swing . every step / stage of  movement , enhanced , detailed , built the frame up on jack stands , so I could roller stool around it ? makes it easy  to watch , hang ups , SWING QUADRANT  , works like a rifle bolt , smooth / solid . effortless . local T/S has bins of  shoulder bolts , elastic nuts / flat washers, dial in swing , pete

Not necessarily, harmonic resonances are the combination of vibrations of different parts at different frequencies. That’s why some discerning ears listening to a three-key piano chord hear a fourth tone.
