cleat 9,380 #26853 Posted October 21 Put six of them to bed for the winter. 312H, 520-8, 416H, 520H (X2), 312-8 Siphoned out most of gas then ran till empty. Pulled battery. These were barely ran all summer so I didn't bother doing oil changes etc. Got the 520HC with the plow moved up and I will get it all checked out and ready for winter duty. The 520 with the mower deck is still in service to grind up leaves for the next few weeks.

Do I really need that many tractors to clear snow? Stan50 242 #26857 Posted Saturday at 09:55 AM I installed strip of old conveyor belt on the edge of dozer blade. Belt is 3/8 thick. Front stabilizer for snowplow is ready too. When I install the plow I will drill a few holes in stabilizer rod for different levels. Next move -- tire chains probably. 8
Ed Kennell 47,569 #26858 Posted Sunday at 04:16 PM Who needs a BA impact gun to loosen stuck blades. Old schoolers just get a longer wrench. This deck may cut again with the blades right side up. 4
953 nut 69,756 #26859 Posted Sunday at 04:41 PM Knew you would win the battle. Ed, using that long pipe I think I would grab a flex head rather than a ratchet.

Only took a few months to: a) realize how often it is just what I needed, and b) that it should only be used with impact-rated sockets (no need to ask about how I learned that). 1 1

Well, I have a very similar version, use it all the time, but I find that I do need a charger... beer, cashews and a wee bit of the venison chili usually works... 1
ebinmaine 80,893 #26871 Posted Sunday at 09:09 PM My version of HUGE extension pipe is a 51 inch long 3/4" drive breaker bar. Rarely use it but with my size and strength it'll outperform all of our impact tools except the strongest one. 4

oliver2-44 11,771 #26873 Posted 1 hour ago Replaced 2 clutch disc. Glued new ones one with JB Weld. The new clutch disc were slightly larger ODD, so I trimmed them with a belt sander. First verified they were non asbestos, but still wore full PPE.
