rick 309 #26626 Posted Thursday at 07:08 PM I swapped out the blades on the 48" deck, checked the oil in the M14 Kohler and filled the fuel tank with 89 E10 then spent 3 hours cutting the grass. I'm rehydrating now!

Lessons learned...black hoods are too wide to clear the hydraulic pump and a shaker plate calls for an inch or so shorter belt It's always something. Well, I said it's always something but sometimes it's a few things...brake shaft and one axle seal now leak. Replacements (and spares) will be here this weekend. I have bearings on hand but no gasket for the case so hopefully it's just seals...

Start the heat/penetrating oil cycle on those hubs now.
Bugzilla46310 16 #26629 Posted yesterday at 11:27 AM Ended up buying the 520xi I looked at a few weeks ago after doing a little more research on hydrostat whine. Ordered filters and will do fluid and greasing before anything. The charging light and mowing in reverse lights stay on so I will need to resolve those also. Best thing, no buyers remorse. 5

Had them both off last month to install wheel studs and a second set screw. Probably should have had new seals on hand and done that then 2

Should be easier to pull them again, if you decide to.

MainelyWheelhorse 2,995 #26634 Posted 19 hours ago (edited) Finally finished up the lawn today after work. The new belt on the 312 worked great. I had to gas up the C-141 to move it to get to the 312. it had just enough left to get back in the garage the last time out. Then a couple pictures for TET, SSS&S, and FEF and I was done for the day. ML3 2,455 #26636 Posted 5 hours ago Did some mid-season maint, grease, etc on 654 & mower deck. Know theres plenty haters on Teckys but mine is reliable & burns no oil. Even degreased tractor & washed it too. Its not pretty but I can count on it winter or summer. 1
