Treated the lawn today with Scott’s Max Weed and Feed.  Never used Max before but Weed and Weed in the past did pretty well!

Used my 1962 Wheel Horse 702 and my Stryker spreader!  Took about one hour.  51% chance of rain this evening and 100% in Wednesday!   So i took a chsnce by spreading today!

Looks like some of my tall fescue. We don't have any rain in the 10 day forecast here in NC so consider yourself lucky!

I treated mine with weed and feed every spring for many years.   Then my well water started to grow some slimy snot..   After about three years of shock treating that only worked for about 3 months, I contacted Penn State and was informed the weed and feed was probably leaching into the well and causing the growth.    I stopped the weed and feed and the well has tested good for several years.   I have weeds and bare spots, but the water is good.

My property has oodles of weeds. Personally, so long as it's all the same color when cut the same length, it's good enough for me. :D
