I’ve put a lot of new parts into this C-100, today I got the last seal I needed to to put the belt on.  It’s first shakedown ride went well then I threw my plow on it.

Looks fit for duty!

Nice job on the steering rehab too!

Hey Carl that looks like a nice bearing on the steering shaft. Do you have a part # for it

my 414-8 probably has 1/4 of play in it

thanks

Is the 414-8 the same size as yours

You can use get em from McMaster Carr.

Part itself should work fine.

McMaster Carr is a "dangerous place". 😂

Poke around on the site. I dare ya.

The parts and supplies I've gotten from them so far have been very good.

It's possible that the kind folks on Redsquare could potentially be a bad influence.

Yea I was mia for 8 years

ive been back for a week and have bought compression spring, roll pin punch, flange bearing and Santa. This place is getting expensive! I could use another set of chains for the rear tires. All these nice looking horses here I’m ashamed to post a pic of mine. One day I might get it back to new condition

She's got a horn on that one. That's an 867 named "Pigpen".

If you zoom in on the Military Tribute Tractor "Millie" you'll see a steering wheel Bell.

At the front is my Cinnamon Horse C160-8. I have an Aahhoogahh horn.

We're basically self aware  5 year olds.

Y'all have a nice christmas?

I ended up getting a nicer set of weights from my brother so I can finally replace these ugly old things. :)

I wish I had a picture of the inside section of these weights. the concrete was wobbling inside so I filled them with expanding foam to keep it from clunking.

@Thor27 that is some very nifty layout and build. Except for the paint overspray on the floor, I can't see any of what you call mess, only projects in progress!

......"Please excuse the mess"........ Don't apologize for the mess, I read some where that a neat garage was the sign of a sick mind.  After walking through mine, and reminding my brother-in-law of the fact, he observed that that put me on par with Einstein!

Left off in a good spot. Check &  tighten everything, fill and bleed oil, and I should have an operating loader in the morning. The pins to the bucket are fighting me. Think if I get hydraulics to work I won't have to fight the weight of the bucket and arms.

Have you considered a front mounted sub-frame with struts going from the from of your frame to the upright near the operator? Without them all the forces will be acting on your crossmember alone and are likely to twist it.

It could be like the one I have pictured or a couple of Schedule 80 one inch pipes running diagonally from below the frame to the pivot point of the upper arms which won't interfere with the hood. This will add a lot of stability yo your FEL.
