That's a right nice looking rig there. 1976 or 77 if the hood is original. I kind of like that side facing air cleaner like you'd see on a GT14.

Looks like you done approximately all right.

You have a good eye....its a 1976....all original except for the addition of the extra large Air Cleaner, and an intake from a GT 14....sucks in much cooler air, instead of the hot exhaust..Its a nice addition to the herd... He gave me all of the original items for the WH, air cleaner, muffler...etc. that were removed / exchanged

thanks Eric !!

C160 was made for 4 years. 1974 and 1975 had a hood ornament. 76 and 77 did not.

That's a good candidate for LED bulbs.  Maybe paint the headlight buckets with chrome paint.  Bill

Independent what color your Rims have other Color( as far as i remember to read)

firstly i thought replate , but if they bee to bad in shape you can sandblast, powdercoat in the Rim’s color

and as the tip of the i - an applications with a brush and red color the Wheelhorselogo and the Text.

Think that will look extreme sexy.

@echris

i like my creative Chaos.. 😂

I like your line of thinking, Tractorhead, kinda my thought also.  Paint the caps the same color as the rims, the lettering black or red and the paint the logo just as it should be. :twocents-twocents:

Well it’s more like what I’d like to be doing with a WheelHorse. I just found out Middlesex livestock auction is have the fall equipment auction and there is a WheelHorse with what looks like a front end loader on it. I want to go but I am running up to New Hampshire with a buddy to get his new corvette.

If anyone is local check it out!

chrome plating can be expensive

the cost to re-chrome might be greater than the cost of a good set of chrome hub caps

powder coat can also be expensive

Decided to clean up rear fenders off a 414 that is peeling and rusting. If there’s an easier way than wire brushing, I’ll like to know. EF86B98E-C180-43D3-A95A-B5F797EAAD08.jpeg.0e70cd918c823e96c92400a93d172d4e.jpeg
