Did something like that a few years ago for a woodchuck under one end of my shop...BIG MISTAKE  Woodchucks are fat and take a long time to decay...The stench was awful....

Man, didn't you get the memo on the latest executive order? Evictions are still banned in Michigan... :snooty:

Uh oh... and you've posted pictorial proof that not only are you evicting the poor little creatures, you are using unapproved methods that are not endorsed by PETA, EPA, OSHA, and EIEIO... You see any black drones over your property yet? :law-policered:

:ROTF:

What do you use at exaust so it doesn’t melt?

There’s a 6’ or so length of steel pipe.  It’s just slipped over the exhaust outlet loosely and the PVC is duct taped together but there is surely fumes getting through the lengths of PVC into the ground.  I didn’t completely seal the ground, just covered it all up to let the fumes settle into the ground.

Not too worried about drones, I have a shotgun or two loaded in the safe

I was thinking about just plugging all the holes except one, fumigate them and immediately cover that last hole. These things are destroying the place. I constantly have to repair collapsed walk ways.

I have done this once before, with chipmunks in a block wall.  I was able to find a spot to stick the pipe in a ways and then buried it.  Remember you’ll want to let it Brent a little to let the fumes settle in and the oxygen out.  You could always stand near another exit with a shovel in hand ready to “bop ‘em on the head” like little bunny foo foo.

Used the 800 in a little lawn clean up today, which included a short drive through the woods behind the house.

Then at the end of mowing I found a crack in the frame of the 855.

Thanks.

It's 100% getting repaired, even if that means buying angle iron and fabricating a whole new rail. This tractor is too much fun and otherwise in too mice of shape to just let go over something like this.

great pic !

what brand / model seats are those ?  - and do they install in original bolt holes and accept the factory seat switch ?

seats our 312 and 416 will need to be replaced one of these days ... don't you hate it when stuff begins to show wear and tear after only 25 - 30 years ?  lol

Didn't actually do anything with the horse 'cause I'm stuck two states away from it.

I did think of something to do with the horse.  Lake weed clean up.  We usually spend several hours manually raking the weeds, then hauling them off with the horse and trailer.

I'm thinking that I can build a drag to cut the weeds by dragging it across the lake bottom with a rope, pulleys attached to the dock, and pulling with the horse.  Would need somebody to drive the horse and somebody in the water to guide the drag.

Once the weeds were cut, follow up with a rake using the same system.

Hopefully, I'll get to try this out in about a month.  Yes, yes, yes.  Pictures when it happens.

While I was fiddling around learning how to weld yesterday, Trina and her mom took her 867 down into the forest and split up a huge pile of wood. We figure it's about 1/2 to 3/4 cord. Took them maybe 3 hours?

Didn't catch any pictures of her tractor but I did snap one of when she was nice enough to put Cinnamon away for me.

Saturday we used both tractors n both trailers to move a couple yards of loam from the front yard to the back for our 8 garden boxes.

I'll tell Trina. She's the one that built those.

My work Warehouse was dismantling some shelves maybe 3 years ago and they tossed a huge pile of 2 x 8 KD.

That's what those are made out of.

Growing season here doesn't start till Memorial Day weekend.

There's a couple things we can plant before then .. peas. I don't remember what else.

Average date of last spring Frost is one way or the other of May 15.
